Quilting Workshop Chiang Mai 2014
Come to beautiful Chaing Mai
and make a quilt! By the end of this four-day workshop, you’ll be well on your
way to creating an art quilt. Come with an
image or drawing and we will transform it into a pattern. On days three and
four you will audition fabrics and begin piecing.
My house is located on an old
tamarind farm eight kilometers from the center of Chiang Mai. Our landlord has built a wonderful three-room
guesthouse. You can rent a room there or
stay closer to town and commute.
The workshop is for three or
four students. Work is done in a large
outdoor sala. I have plenty of sewing
machines, design boards, and lots of space. Some quilting experience is
required; this is not a workshop for beginners.
Workshops can be created for groups of three or four upon request.
