Starting Out
This quilt is reminiscent of a trip to
Sapa, although it could be anywhere in the hills of Asia. The women
set out each morning with a long walk ahead of them through the
terraced rice fields. No matter their destination or purpose, the
baby and umbrella are usually a part of the picture.
